Pauline Peretz



Pauline Peretz is a historian, specialist of minorities in the United States.

She is associate professor in history at Université Paris 8 -Vincennes Saint Denis, and deputy director of the Institut d’Histoire du Temps Présent.

She is part of the editorial team of the La Vie des idées, and was the editor of the series « Raconter la vie » with the Le Seuil.

She is the author of Une armée noire. Fort Huachuca, Arizona (1941-1945) (Le Seuil, 2022), Let My People Go. The Transnational Politics of Soviet Jewish Emigration During the Cold War (Transaction Publishers, 2015), Au prêt sur gage (« Raconter la vie », Seuil, 2014), Le dossier secret de l’Affaire Dreyfus (avec Pierre Gervais et Pierre Stutin, Alma 2012), et a dirigé L’Amérique post-raciale ? (PUF/Vie des idées, 2013) et New York. Histoire, Promenades, Anthologie, Dictionnaire (« Bouquins », Robert Laffont, 2009).
