Geneviève Bührer-Thierry

Geneviève Bührer-Thierry graduated from ENS Saint-Cloud and holds an agrégation in history. She is a professor of medieval history at the University of Paris 1-Panthéon-Sorbonne. Her research focuses on the political and social history of the Frankish and Germanic world from the sixth to the eleventh centuries. With Charles Mériaux, she is the author of La France avant la France (481-888), published by Belin in 2010.
