Cécile Thomé

Cécile Thomé is a research fellow in sociology at the CNRS (Centre Maurice Halbwachs, Paris). Having worked on sexual and contraceptive practices, she is now conducting research on the use of digital technology in health, particularly in sexual and reproductive health. She has published Des corps disponibles. Comment la contraception façonne la sexualité hétérosexuelle (La Découverte, 2024), and she co-translated Arlie R. Hochschild’s classic work, Le prix des sentiments. Au cœur du travail émotionnel (La Découverte, 2017), with Salomé Fournet-Fayas.
