Pierre Nevejans

Pierre Nevejans is associate professor in Early modern history at the University of Lille. After working on Florentine diplomacy during the Italian Wars (Diplomaties plurielles au XVIe siècle. Florence et la France à la fin des guerres d’Italie, Paris, Classiques Garnier, 2024), he worked on the role of Francesco Guicciardini’s private secretaries when he was writing his Storia d’Italia. He is now working on a social history of court domestic service in the Early modern period, mainly in France and Italy.
