Arthur Asseraf is Senior Lecturer in History at Cambridge University and a Fellow of Pembroke College. He is the author of Electric News in Colonial Algeria (Oxford University Press, 2019). His research focuses on the contemporary history of the Maghreb, France and the Mediterranean.
