Timothy Brook

Timothy Brook is a historian of China at the University of British Columbia. Among his books, Vermeer’s Hat has been published in French as Le Chapeau de Vermeer (Payot). His recent series of lectures at the
Collège de France explored the impact of famine on prices during the Ming dynasty.
