Ariane Poulantzas, a philosopher by training, is a journalist and documentary filmmaker. She is interested in neuroscience as well as the articulation between different psychs (psychiatry, psychoanalysis, behavioral and cognitive therapies). She worked on this subject for two years at Empêcheurs de penser en rond and produced several series of programs on France Culture on the history of science. She also deals with bioethical issues. In 2008, she directed Maternité croisé, a documentary on surrogacy. She is currently preparing two new documentaries, one on gamete donation in France, the other on the legal framework for preimplantation diagnosis and prenatal diagnosis.
