Piroska Nagy is a professor of medieval history at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). A specialist in the history and historiography of affectivity, and in the cultural and intellectual history of the central Middle Ages, she co-directs the Cambridge series Elements Histories of Emotions and the Senses. Her publications include Histoire des émotions collectives, with L. Zanetti Domingues and D. Boquet, Paris, 2022; Sensible Moyen Âge. Une histoire des émotions dans l’Occident médiévale, with D. Boquet, Paris, Seuil, 2015. Her current research focuses on the experiences of collective events, including the Milanese Pataria (11th century).
