Sophie Lambroschini is a researcher in the socio-economic history of Eastern Europe at the Centre Marc Bloch in Berlin. Her research focuses on infrastructure systems as sites of social transformation in conflict. Her current work focuses on the everyday life of water and electricity infrastructure systems in Ukraine since the start of the Russian war in 2014. At the Centre Marc Bloch she directs the ANR-DFG project LimSpaces - Vivre l’entre-deux : stratégies d’adaptation et horizons d’attente d’acteurs ordinaires en Ukraine et Moldavie in partnership with the Zentrum für Osteuropa- und internationale Studien (ZOiS) in Berlin and the Géographie-cités laboratory (CNRS). She is an associate researcher at CERCEC-EHESS in Paris.
