François Doppler-Speranza is a lecturer at the University of Lorraine in Nancy and teaches at Syracuse University. A researcher at the IDEA laboratory (Interdisciplinarity in Anglophone Studies, UR 2338), he works on the cultural and diplomatic history of the United States in the 19th and 20th centuries. His publications include Une armée de diplomates. Les militaires américains et la France (1944-1967) published by Presses universitaires de Strasbourg (2021), with the support of the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale (IHEDN) and the Association pour les études sur la guerre et la stratégie (AEGES).
