Vincent Boyer holds an agrégation in philosophy (2010) and a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Nantes (2018). He worked as a temporary teaching and research assistant (ATER) in the philosophy departments at the University of Nantes and Sorbonne University (Paris 4) and is now research associate at the Prospéro Center in Brussels. He has recently published articles on John Rawls (“Amender l’utilitarisme?,” Philosophie, 2017) and David Hume (“Promesse et fiction chez David Hume,” Les Etudes philosophiques, July 2020). The book based on his dissertation, Promesse tenue: Agir par devoir, was published with Classiques Garnier in 2021 (Collection “Philosophies contemporaines).”
