Pierre Robert Baduel

Honorary research director at the CNRS in political sociology. Former director of the Revue des mondes musulmans et de la Méditerranée (Aix-en-Pce, 1984-1999) and of the Institut de recherche sur le Maghreb contemporain (Tunis). He has spent two long periods teaching and researching in Tunisia (Gabès 1969-1979, Tunis 2003-2008). Latest books: Un temps insurrectionnel pas comme les autres. La chute de Ben Ali et les printemps arabes (Paris, Non Lieu, 2018) and Quand la Tunisie ouvrait la voie... Combats et débats d’une année révolutionnaire (id., 2020).
