Antoine Vauchez

Antoine Vauchez is a research director at the CNRS and a member of the European Centre for Sociology and Political Science (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, EHESS). His work focuses on the formation of a European power centre, the role of ’independent powers’ (courts, agencies, central banks) and the recomposition of the relationship between law, economics and politics at the French and European levels. He has recently published L’Union par le droit(Presses de Sciences Po, 2013), Démocratiser l’Europe (Seuil, 2014) and Sphère publique, intérêts privés (Presses de Sciences Po, 2017).
