A graduate from the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Lyons), Ophélie Siméon holds a PhD in British history. She is an Associate Professor at the University Paris 3-Sorbonne nouvelle and redactor-in-chief at La Vie des Idées / Books & Ideas. Her research addresses early Socialism in the context of the Industrial Revolution, notably in the writings and community experiments of Robert Owen.
