Pierre-Marie Morel

Pierre-Marie Morel is Professor of the History of Ancient Philosophy at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Director of GRAMATA (Research Group on Antiquity, Middle Ages, and Arabic Transmission) at UMR 7219. His work focuses mainly on the relationship between ethics and natural philosophy in Antiquity, particularly in Aristotle and Epicureanism. He has notably translated Epicurus’Lettres et Maximes into GF-Flammarion and contributed to the Pléiade volume “The Epicureans”.
