Giulia Mensitieri

Giulia Mensitieri holds a PhD in social anthropology and ethnology (EHESS Paris). Her research focuses on global circulations, unpaid labor and exploitation, and the power of imaginations in the high places of advanced capitalism. Her main field of research is the fashion industry. She is the author of the book Le Plus Beau Métier du Monde. Dans les coulisses de l’industrie de la mode, published by La Découverte in 2018 and translated into English by Bloomsbury Academic in 2020.
