Agnès Louis is a lecturer in political science at the Université du Littoral-Côte d’Opale (law department). Her thesis (to be published by OUSIA) analyses the resurgence of the ancient metaphor of the “political body” in texts written by authors with a background in phenomenology: Arendt, Merleau-Ponty, Ricœur and Lefort. She specializes in the history of ideas, and has also published texts on Raymond Aron, Leszek Kolakowski and Benny Lévy.
