Laurie Lefebvre

A graduate of classical literature and a doctor of the University of Lille, Laurie Lefebvre teaches French literature, Latin and Greek. Her research focuses on ancient historiography and in particular the rhetoric of historical discourse. She is the author of the book Le Mythe Néron. La fabrique d’un monstre dans la littérature antique (1er - 5 s.) published by Presses universitaires du Septentrion, as well as various articles such as “Récrire l’histoire : l’utilisation du matière suétonien par un historien chrétien, Orose” (Latomus, 72 (2), 2013, p. 492-501), or “L’historien antique face à ses sources : Eusèbe de Césarée lecteur de Flavius ​​Josèphe” (proceedings of the conference Discours et systèmes de représentation, PUFC, 2016, p. 181-188).
