Pierre Lascoumes



Pierre Lascoumes is a jurist and sociologist, emeritus director of research at the CNRS. He is affiliated with the Centre for European Studies at Sciences-Po Paris.
He has worked in the sociology of law and justice, specializing in the analysis of public policy. His research focuses on the transformation and implementation of environmental policies. He has also conducted research on policies to combat economic and financial crime, as well as on social representations of corruption and the fight against money laundering.
He is the author of Une démocratie corruptible (Seuil 2011) and, with Carla Nagels, of Sociologie des élites délinquantes (A. Colin, 2014).
