Jean-Paul Lallemand-Stempak is a PhD candidate in History at the Centre d’Études Nord-Américaines (CENA-EHESS) and a teaching assistant at the University Paris Diderot. His research focuses on African-Americans’ struggle for the desegregation of the health system in the Civil Rights era.
