Sélima Kebaïli

Sélima Kebaïli is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Geneva (Institute for gender studies), whose research focuses on gender, justice, violence, and victimhood, mainly in the MENA region and Europe. Her current book project deals with transitional justice and the making of the category of “indirect victim” in postrevolutionary Tunisia. She received her Ph.D. in Sociology from the EHESS in Paris, and has degrees in gender studies and political science. She recently joined the Books and Ideas advisory committee.
