Sébastien Jahan



Sébastien Jahan is a historian and lecturer at the University of Poitiers. A specialist in the circulation of people in France under the Ancien Régime, he is also interested in questions of memory linked to mass violence and French and Spanish colonization in America. He recently co-edited, with Laurent Colantonio, Les empires ébranlés. Le colonialisme mis en échec des rives de l’Uruguay à Diên Biên Phu, XVIIe-XXe siècles, Paris, Les Indes savantes, 2017.
