François Héran

François Héran holds the “Migration and Societies” chair at the Collège de France (« Migrations et sociétés »). He has taught applied statistics, demography, and sociology for many years, mainly at ENSAE (École nationale de la statistique et de l’administration économique), Sciences Po, the École des Ponts, and the European Doctoral School of Demography. He directs the Convergences Migrations Institute, which is funded by the Investissements d’avenir and coordinated by the CNRS.
