Gaëtan Flocco is a sociologist and an associate professor at the Université d’Évry Paris-Saclay at at the Centre Pierre Naville. His research has focused on executives’ resistance and consent at work in multinational companies. He has namely published Sortir de l’entreprise capitaliste (with D. Bachet, B. Kervella, and M. Sweeney, Le Croquant, 2008) and Des dominants très dominés. Pourquoi les cadres acceptent leur servitude (Raisons d’Agir, 2015). He is now conducting a survey with Mélanie Guyonvarch on the work of researchers specialized in synthetic biology and the controversies raised by this biotechnological field.
