Estelle Ferrarese is Professor in Social and political theory at the University of Strasburg, France. She is currently on research leave at the Marc Bloch Center, Berlin.
She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University Paris 8, exploring the political thought of Jürgen Habermas. Her research focuses on the theories of democracy, the state of right and public space, on vulnerability as political object, on the Frankfurt School’s critical theory, and on gender.
She was visiting professor at the New School for Social Research, NYC, and the Berlin Humboldt University.
