Christophe Camus

Christophe CAMUS is Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at the École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Bretagne (Ensa-b, Rennes), and a researcher at the LET, Ensa Paris - La Villette. See Christophe Camus’s teaching blog

He is developing a sociological approach to architecture through its mediation, communication and mediatisation.
More specifically, his work focuses on :
 The ways in which architects think about and stage the recipients of their projects, from conception to completion or use;
 Communications or mediations as a means of thinking about the professional identity, skills, values and practices of architects.
In other words, it’s about questioning the practices and modes of existence of architecture.
