Jean Baubérot

Jean Baubérot is a historian and sociologist of religions, honorary professor and honorary president of the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes, and former director of the Sociétés Religions Laïcités group (CNRS-EPHE-PSL), of which he is still a member. He has published many books on religions and the concept of secularism, including Les Déchirements de laïcité (Mialet-Barrault, 2023, with Nathalie Heinich).
