Jonathan Stieglitz

Jonathan Stieglitz is associate professor of anthropology at the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse and Universite Toulouse 1 Capitole. Since 2004 he has conducted integrated biomedical and anthropological research among Tsimane forager-horticulturalists of the Bolivian Amazon, and he currently co-directs the Tsimane Health and Life History Project. His work focuses on understanding the impacts of ecology and evolution on the shaping of the human life course.
