Nicolas Delalande obtained a degree from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris, is agrégé in History, and is now a researcher with the Centre d’histoire de Sciences Po. In Novembre 2009, he completed a Ph.D. in Contemporary History with a dissertation on "Consent and Resistance to Taxation. The State, Citizens, and the Problem of Trust under the Third Républic". His book Les Batailles de l’impôt (Seuil) was published in March 2011.
He is an editor of La Vie des idées.
