Kristel Chanard

Kristel Chanard is a researcher is Geophysics at the Laboratoire de Recherche en Géodésie, Insitut Géographique National (Paris, France). She received a PhD at the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris, in 2015 and was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) until 2016. Her research focuses on using spatial geodesy to measure and model the seasonal deformation of the Earth induced by surface hydrology, such as monsoons, and understand its impact on the earthquake cycle.
